ISANG dagger three ni Renzo Subido at dalawang free throw ni MVP Soulemane Chabi Yo sa endgame ang nagselyo sa panalo ng University of Sto. Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers kontra University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons, 68-65, sa huling stepladder semis kagabi sa UAAP Season 82 men’s basketball tournament sa Mall of Asia Arena.

“That was a good game. We have to give credit to coach Bo (Perasol) and his coaching staff for the adjustments that they made. It was really tough for us because of their adjustments. We tried to counter, we we’re able to get our shots kaya lang hindi pumapasok but I kept on telling the boys to keep on taking those shots kasi ‘yun naman talaga ‘yung tira na tinitira namin,” pahayag ni UST head coach Aldin Ayo.

(Janiel Abby Toralba)
