Tour champ Galedo, iba pa susundan ng mga junior rider

Ilang tulog na lang at magpapad­yakan na ang mga siklista sa PhilCycling 2019 National Road Championships na sisimulan sa July 23 sa Tagaytay City.

Unang ilalarga ang Road Races at kinabukasan ay pakakawalan ang Time Trial para sa Men Elite and Under-23 at Men Junior cate­gories.

Tinatayang aabot sa mahigit 100 riders ang magpaparehistro sa Men Elite and Under-23 Road Race (Massed Start) sa event na mga suportado ng One LGC (Air21, Ube Media Inc. and IWMI), Go For Gold, MVP Sports Foundation, Bike-X Singapore and 7-Eleven Cliqq Air21 by Roadbike Philippines.

Marami ang nagpatala sa Men Junior (17-18 years old) Road Race, nais ng mga batang siklista na makasama ang kanilang mga idolo na sina former Tour champions Mark John Lexer Galedo, El Joshua Carino, Ronald Oranza at Jan Paul Morales.

“The figures [registration] is proof that cycling is very much alive in the Philippines, thanks to our sport’s stakeholders,” saad ni PhilCycling President and Cavite 8th District Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino.
Sa Men Elite and Under-23 Individual Time Trial (ITT) ay may 68 riders ang kakaskas

May 12 riders sa Women Elite Road Race at sasalang din sila sa ITT.
May layong 18 kms, ang sasabakan ng Men Elite at Under-23 at sa Road Race ay may 132.08 kms naman. (Elech Dawa)
