TINULDUKAN na ni Christopher John ‘Chris’ Tiu ang makulay na basketball career na tinampukan ng 2 gold at 1 bronze medal sa international play bilang kasapi ng Philippine team, at tig-1 titulo sa Philippine Basketball Association at collegiate ranks.

Opisyal na hinayag ng San Juan City native, 33-year-old, 5-foot-11 point guard ang pagretiro sa kanyang Twitter account na @chris_tiu makaraan ang 6 na taong pro career, lahat sa Rain or Shine, ang humugot sa kanya sa 2012 Draft bilang 1st round pick, 7th overall.

Kasama si Tiu sa Pinoy quintet na nag-gold sa 9th Southeast Asia Basketball Association Championship for Men 2011 at sa 26th Southeast Asian Games 2011 na parehong ginanap sa Jakarta-Palembang, Indonesia, at bronze sa 35th Jones Cup 2011 sa Taiwan.
