Kinalos naman nina Raja Nazmi Hussin at Mohd Aizzat Zokri ng Malaysia sina Davao 2 duo Israel Encina at Roldan Luyao, 21-15, 21-16, sa men’s play habang ang Austria-Norway tandem nina Marian Klaffinger at Aleksander Sorum ay pinagpag sina Noel Salinas at Marjun Quizon, 21-4, 21-8, ng Lianga.

Pero nagpakitang-gilas ang BanKo-Perlas 1 na sina Dzi Gervacio at Bea Tan, tinuldukan nila ang winning run ng international teams matapos payukuin sina Thailand hitters Nasuda Janmong at Saranya Laesood, 21-18, 21-17.

Sa ibang women’s matches, pinisak ng BanKo-Perlas 2, Amanda Villanueva at Roma Doromal sina Ateneo spikers Jules Samonte at Ponggay Gaston, 21-18, 23-21, habang tinalupan ng University of the Philippines Justine Dorog at Abi Goc sina Lianga’s Leah Mae Pontillo at Maria Adabog.
