SA estado ng thumb injury ni Greg Slaughter, mukhang ‘di na rin makakalaro sa Southeast Asian Games men’s basketball ang Ginebra center.

Wala namang fracture ang daliri ni Slaughter, pero posibleng abutin din ng isang linggo bago makabalik pero puwede ring mas matagal pa.
Sa Dec. 2 na ang umpisa ng men’s basketball ng SEAG na iho-host ng bansa.

“We’re hoping it’s a few days (recovery) but we can’t really tell,” lahad ni coach Tim Cone. “We didn’t see any ligament damage in the MRI or any broken bones, but there was a clear dislocation. You can see his finger was dangling.”

“We got cases where thumb injuries can last a month or two. So we’ll see.”
Nauna nang nalagasan ang 15-man pool ni Cone sa Gilas Pilipinas nang abutin ng foot injury si Jayson Castro.

Binalak ni Cone na ipalit sa slot ng veteran point guard si Kiefer Ravena, pero wala pang balita kung papayagan ng SEA Games Organizing Committee. (VE)
