“We’re trying to get him back in, but nothing’s working so far. He’s still got swelling and pain in his foot,” sabi ng Gin Kings coach matapos makuha ang panalo sa Game 3 noong Martes, 95-87, sa MOA.

“Team staff are doing everything for Slaughter’s injury to heal, including having a battery of trainers work on him everyday while undergoing therapy 24 hours a day,” hirit pa ni Cone.

“It’s different for a seven-footer and a 280-pound guy, unlike me at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. It’s a lot different for him than us,” ani Cone. “There’s just so much weight that goes on to that ligament and it’s really hard to heal than it is for smaller guys.”
