“The island has a population of 200,000 and isn’t overrun with tourists, making it a paradise for anyone keen for a genuine escape,” ayon sa artikulong lumabas sa Metro, isang tabloid sa United Kingdom.
Paliwanag ni Marianna Cerini, writer ng Conde Nast Traveler, “Siargao has remained unspoiled, remote, and still relatively under the radar, despite the influx of new infrastructures in recent years.”
“Siargao has been enchanting visitors for years because of its welcoming vibe and easy island lifestyle. A stream of cool, independent new hotels and businesses are making the island a shining example of sustainable
tourism, and there’s a wealth of activities to keep you busy for days. It’s no surprise Conde Nast Traveler readers voted it the best island in Asia – but it also topped our list as the best island in the world.” ayon sa artikulo.
