Senado nakiramay sa pagpanaw ng ina ni Grace Poe

Naghain si Senate Presidente Vicente Sotto III na isang resolusyon na nagpapapahayag simpatya at pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ng beterang actress na si Susan Roces.

Pumanaw si Rocess, Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora-Poe, sa tunay na buhay noong Mayo 20 sa edad na 80.

“RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE PHILIPPINES, To express, as it hereby expresses, its profound sympathy and sincere condolences on the death of Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora-Poe, popularly known as ‘Susan Roces’,” sabi sa resolusyon na pinadala sa mga reporter.

Nakasaad sa resolusyon ang pagkilala ng Senado sa kontribusyon ni Roces na tinaguriang “Queen of Philippine Movies” sa entertainment industry. Pinagbidahan niya ang mahigit 130 pelikula sa loob ng 70 taon niyang career. (Dindo Matining)
