Pinoy aktres wanted sa Spider-Man
Naghahanap ng Pinoy actress ang Marvel Studios at Sony Pictures para i-cast sa ikatlong Spider-Man film na pagbibidahan ni Tom Holland.
Ayon sa US-based pop culture website, The Direct: “Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are casting a Filipina actress within the age range of 50-80 years old for a small supporting role in the movie.”
Gaganap na relative ng best friend ni Peter Parker na si Ned Leeds ang ika-cast na Filipina actress. Ang gumaganap na Ned Leeds ay ang Filipino-American actor na si Jacob Batalon.
Ayon pa sa The Direct: “Such casting would essentially imply that Ned has the same nationality as Batalon, further paying homage to the real-life background of the actor. More so, this serves as a positive step for Sony and Marvel Studios to further strengthen Asian representation in their films.”
The movie is currently in production at may December 2021 playdate na ito. (Ruel Mendoza)
