ASAM ni 2019 Asian Junior BMX Championship gold medalist Patrick Coo na maging ikawalong pambansang atleta na makapagkuwalipika sa nalalapit na 2020 Tokyo Olympics sa pagsabak nito sa Qualifying World Cup sa Mayo 29-30 sa Bogota, Colombia.

Ang 19-anyos na Tokyo Olympic BMX Racing aspirant na si Coo ay nangako na gagawin ang lahat para manalo sa pagtungo nito sa krusyal na qualifying event at maitala ang personal nitong hangarin na makapaglaro sa kada apat na taong multi-sports na torneo sa gaganapin sa Tokyo, Japan.

“Preparations has been doing good every day. I am on the right track. I would say I am pretty much ready. It will be my first World Cup and it will be tough. But we got to roll. My expectation is to be on the map. Stay on top of things and focusing in,” sabi ni Coo.

“Not really pressured, just like the stress, not getting into that stuff. Just want to compete,” sabi pa ng mula Cerritos College at nakatira sa Bellflower, California na isang bemedalled junior racer.

Dapat sanang nakaplano na isabak ang Pilipinong BMX racer na si Coo para sa Olympic slot sa 2024 Paris Games.

Gayunman, dahil umatras si Daniel Caluag ay napunta rito ang silya para sumabak sa World Cup. (Lito Oredo)
