“We are bound to support national sports,” sabi ni Domingo. “Since President Duterte won in 2016, we remitted P4.4 billion to the PSC, it is about an average of about P145M a month, and we also gave P159M last month,” sabi nito.

“We also gave last month a P852M check for rehabilitation and renovation of three major sports complex, Rizal, Ninoy and Ultra. We contributed also to the incentives of the national athletes winning in international competition, and P140M for the coaches.”

“We also granted to Phisgoc, based on memo of the president to all agencies to help with the SEA Games, P200M to Phisgoc as sponsorship package,” sabi pa ni Domingo, habang inihayag din nito ang pagtulong sa ilang mga national sports associations tulad ng wrestling bowling, chess, dance sports at mga individual athlete.

(Lito Oredo)
