Oranza, 3 pang ex-champion haharurot sa Ronda Pilipinas

PADYAKANG umaatikabo ang masisilayan paglarga ng LBC Ronda Pilipinas 10th anniversary race na magsisimula bukas sa harap ng provincial capitol sa Sorsogon.

Ito’y dahil limang former champion ang pepedal sa 10 Stage race na magtatapos sa March 4 sa Vigan City.

“We’re expecting an exciting race because most practically all the country’s top cyclists including most of our past LBC Ronda Pilipinas champions are joining,” saad ni LBC Ronda Pilipinas chairman Moe Chulani.

Ang mga kampeon na babanat ay sina Ro­nald Oranza ng Standard Insurance-Navy; Santy Barnachea ng Scratch It; Mark Galedo ng 7Eleven Cliqq-Air21 by Roadbike Philippines at Reimon Lapaza ng Celeste Cycles PH-Devel Project Pro Team.

Dalawang beses nagkampeon si Morales, kinalawit niya ang titulo noong 2016 at 2017 habang 2018 naghari si Oranza.

Kumpiyansa si 34 year old Morales na kaya pa nitong magkampeon sa nasabing malupit na cycling race sa Pilipinas.

“I always aim to win in all the races I join and I’m confident of my chances this year,” ani Morales.

Nanaig si Barnachea noong 2011 at 2015, habang sina Galedo at Alpaza ay kuminang noong 2012 at 2014 ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Ang nasabing event ay suportado ng LBC at inisponsoran ng Manny V.
