“Today, as we celebrate 50 years, we pay tribute to the pioneers of the WNCAA. We honor those who have blazed the trail of excellence and paved the way for all of us,” sabi ni WNCAA Executive Director Vivian Manila sa isinagawang press launch kahapon sa Aristocrat Restaurant sa Malate, Manila.

Ang 19 pararangalan ay sina sina Gloria Co, Mary Cabochan, Naomi Villacampa, Loly Choa, Fely Wong, Teresita Ang, Elizabeth Chuacuco, Yholiie Co, Angelika Dela Cruz, Ellen Carbon, Josephine Lim, Corazon Magante, Shirley Ong, Susan Lee, Editha Lee, Raquel Lagman-Banawa, Hope Ocampo, Nina Diaz at Murial Aquino.

“We tried as hard as we can to recognize 50 of our great players but some of them had already gone, some cannot attend and others have hard time to get their award. We are still lucky we could walk and run and get on to watch the opening,” pagbibiro pa ni Manila.

(Lito Oredo)
