Mga terorista pupulbusin ng bagong AFP chief of staff

PATULOY ang gagawing pagkilos ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) laban sa mga banta ng terorismo sa Mindanao partikular sa mga ISIS-inspired groups at Abu Sayyaf, ayon sa bagong upang Chief of Staff na si Lt. General Benjamin Madrigal.

“We’ll also keep up the pace of diminishing the existence of terrorist cells and other armed peace spoilers so we can protect our people and insulate our community from their plot of fear,” saad ni Madrigal kamakalawa ng hapon sa isinagawang AFP Change of Command.

Dagdag pa ni Madrigal, suportado ang hangarin ng AFP ng mga kinauukulang ahensiya at ng Muslim Communities sa Mindanao at ngayon ay nakikipagtulungan sa gobyerno para sa walang tigil na paghabol sa mga teroristang grupo partikular sa mga ISIS-inspired groups na Dawlah Islamiyah, Maute Group at Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).

“These efforts reduced the threats posed by these groups, constricted their movement and disrupted their terror plans, we cannot let another Marawi-like threat to happen again,” pahayag ni Madrigal.

Pinalitan ni Madrigal si Gen. ­Carlito Galvez, na magreretiro na bilang AFP chief of staff matapos ang mandatory requirement na 56-anyos.
