“Women have the special ability to read the heart and mind of an athlete,” ani Ramirez. “Coaching is not always perfect, but it is leadership. I want to honour our Filipino women who truly exemplifies the self-awareness, ingenuity, love and heroism in honing the best in our athletes.”
Nagbigay ng mensahe sa Ramirez sa mahigit 150 sports women leaders, coaches at local government representatives, nakasama niya sina PSC commissioner Celia Kiram at Australia-based coach Patricia Puzon bilang resource speaker.
Si Puzon ang may-akda ng librong ‘Becoming a Great Coach’ at director, founder at head coach ng MAC’s CrankIt Tennis Academy (MCTA) sa New South Wales, Australia.
“I share the call of Chairman Ramirez to develop our Filipino women coaches,” hayag ni Puzon.
(Elech Dawa)
