“There was already a finding by Congress that the Interim Reimbursement Mechanism (IRM) is anomalous. This so-called liquidation will not just make it all right or erase the fact that it is anomalous, or, even criminal,” ayon kay Zarate.

Dahil dito panawagan ng kongresista sa COA, “The Commission on Audit (COA) should conduct a special audit on PhilHealth’s fund and this anomalous IRM as soon as possible. The P15B involved in this case is even much bigger than the P10B Napoles pork barrel scam. A deeper investigation or audit must be conducted and those responsible be made accountable, especially since PhilHealth is again planning to hike the contribution of its members.”

(Eralyn Prado)
