Jessica Sanchez kakanta para sa Democrats

Muling eeksena ang ­Filipino-American ­singer na si Jessica Sanchez ­matapos itong kunin para mag-record ng ­kantang “Stronger Together,” na anthem sa ­Demoratic ­National Convention (DNC) sa Hulyo 28 sa ­Philadelphia.

Ang ‘Strong Together’ ay komposisyon nina Carole Bayer Sager, Bruce Roberts at Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds para kay US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Sabi ng American Idol runner-up sa isang ­interview ng Billboard hindi siya nagdala­wang-isip na tanggapin ang alok na kumanta ng ­anthem ng democrats.

“It was so last minute. I went in the ­studio, they mixed it that night and they sent it out the next day.” It’s crazy to me, because I didn’t think it was going to happen that quick,” ayon sa Fil-Am singer.

“Honored to do this song for @HillaryClinton and the #DNC,” ayon sa twitter ni ­Sanchez.

Dati nang nag-perform si Sanchez sa DNC noong Setyembre 2012 para naman kay US Pre­sident Barack Obama.
