Gorospe, Cariño papadyak sa 2019 Asian Road Cycling

PANGUNUNAHAN nina Ismael Grospe, Jr. at Daniel Ven Cariño ng Go for Gold Philippines ang bansa sa U-23 category ng Asian Road Cycling Championships 2019 sa Abril 23-28 sa Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Makakasama nina Grospe at Cariño si Joshua Mari Bonifacio habang babandera naman sa junior road race sina Ean Cajucom, Efren Reyes, Jr. at Marc Ryan Lago.

Naniniwala si Go for Gold founder Jeremy Go na kayang alpasan ng grupo ang naging finish nito noong nakaraang taon.

“I believe that this group is even more talented than our last group, so I have the expectation that they will surpass our experience last year,” sabi ni Go.

Nagpakitang-gilas na sa PRUride Criterium 2019 sa Filinvest Alabang sina Reyes, Grospe at Cariño may ilang linggo na ang nakararaan.

“From the start, we are really focused on developing our riders for the future of Philippine cycling,” wika ni Go for Gold project director Ednalyn Hualda.

Sinabi din ni Hualda, na may ilang international tourney pa ang sasabakan ang tropa pagkatapos ng ACC para sa kanilang pangarap na makapasok sa 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Ilan pang miyembro ng squad ay ang kapitan na sina Ronnel Hualda, Jay Lampawog, Rex Luis Krog, Ronnilan Quita, Elmer Navarro, Jericho Jay Lucero at Boots Ryan Cayubit. (Fergus Josu­e, Jr.)
