Globe, Smart service provider nahuli sa nakaw load

TINANGGALAN ng Certificate of Registration ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ang isang mobile content provider ng Globe Telecom dahil sa reklamo hinggil sa hidden charges at nawawalang load.

Sa pagdinig ng Senate committee on science and technology, inanunsyo ni NTC Deputy Commissio­ner Edgardo Cabarios ang revocation ng Certificate of Registration ng Got Deals Mobile Inc.

Tinukoy ni Cabarios si Freanne Hontinveros Mauricio, na naghain ng letter-complaint sa NTC dahil sa paulit-ulit na pagbabawas ng limang pisong load sa kanya sa mga nakalipas na buwan.

“On the issue of the one that was tackled last time, on the complaint filed by Freanne, the Commission has revoked the certificate of registration of Got Deals and that includes all inclu­ding that of Smart so they can’t offer services anymore,” sabi ni Cabarios.

Idinagdag ni Cabario­s na inatasan nila ang Globe na magpatupad ng mga hakbangin na hindi na ito mauulit.

Ikinukonsidera rin ng NTC na obligahin ang mga telecommunication company na magpatupad ng dalawang ‘opt-in’ confirmations sa mga value added service.

“The subscriber must receive the remaining balance every day. If they don’t file complaints after 30 days then the load is considered okay,” paliwanag ni Cabarios.

“This will give also the telcos the right to consider all of these loads as legitimate loads after 30 days,” dagdag ng opisyal.

Samantala, nabatid na maglalabas din umano ng memorandum circular ang NTC na mag-oobliga sa mga telco na araw-araw na magpadala ng update sa load ba­lance ng mga konsumer para maresolba ang isyu ng nawawalang load.
