“My request to Health Secretary Duque is to immediately provide these children medical examination before entering new grade or transferring to a new school. This should be the first thing that the department has done, provided them immediate physical examination,” ayon kay Jaianiro.

“That’s why if a mother of a DVI requested for an x-ray, we need to give it right away. Just because a doctor said it is not needed, it doesn’t mean that we will not send our children for an x-ray. As parents, it is innate in us to find out for ourselves what is our children’s health status and ensure his/her safety,” dagdag pa ni Janairo.
