Former Warriors coach Jackson ban sa anti-gay, religious belief

NANINIWALA si Golden State Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala na hinarangan ng NBA na makabalik sa pagco-coach sa liga si dating GSW head coach Mark Jackson dahil sa kanyang religious beliefs.

Taong 2013 pa lang ay nasa ilalim na ng Warriors si Iguodala at nakapaglaro pa siya ng isang taon sa ilalim ni Jackson.

Sinipa ito ng team taong 2014.
Mula nang matanggal ay wala ng mga koponan ang kumuha kay Jackson at sa tingin ni Iguodala may kinalaman ang pananaw nito sa ilang isyu.

“One particular issue was — from what I heard — was his views on gender, or marriage, or what the bible said on your sexuality,” sabi ni Iguodala sa pagbisita nito sa podcast na The Breakfast Club.

Pinutakte rin si Jackson noong 2013 sa kanyang komento nang umamin ang isang NBA player na si Jason Collins na isa siyang bakla.

“As a Christian man, I have beliefs of what’s right and what’s wrong,” wika ni Jackson. “That being said, I know Jason Collins, I know his family, and am certainly praying for them at this time.”

Ayon pa kay Iguodala marahil hindi tinanggap ng ilan ang naging opinyon ni Jackson tungkol dito lalo na si Warriors executive Ricks Welts na isang openly gay man. (Fergus Josue, Jr.)
