“We have been making efforts to see the benefits of Republic Act 10699 (aside from cash incentives) implemented, starting on the discounts of athletes and coaches,” sabi ni Ramirez.

“We had conference at PSC and per BIR’s request on March 19 and we emailed them a copy of the IRR. On June 7, the BIR sent a draft IRR for our comments. We had another letter August 8 for another follow-up. Then, per monthly communication with Atty. Michelle Labajana (PSC Legal), the Revenue regulation has been submitted by the BIR to the DOF last October,” sabi ni Ramirez.

“We are now just awaiting the issuance of a Revenue Regulation by the BIR on the final implementation of RA 10699 Sec. 4 and 5,” sabi pa ni Ramirez. (Lito Oredo)
