Creative industry ibebenta ng DTI sa Asya

Isinusulong ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang promosyon para sa isang economic potential ng bansa na tutuon sa creative industries sa Southeast Asia na mag-aangat sa export service ng Pilipinas.

Sinabi ni DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez na ina­alam na ang mga magiging pla­yers sa nabanggit na industriya na bibigyan ng suporta, kabilang ang promotion budget.

Ayon kay Lopez ang bansa­ ay may malakas na creative services,­ partikular sa graphic design, game development, at software­ development na kinilalang ­“service winners”.

“Please note without any support, the creative economy has basically accounted for about one-half in value relative to the merchandise goods.

“More so, pag sinu-support natin (if we provide support to the sector)… Even increasing budget so that we can promote them better and much stronger than before because before, halos walang (they had almost no) promotion budget,” dagdag pa ni Lopez .
