Cavite-Metro ferry service sagot sa trapik

Ilulunsad ngayon araw ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at ng Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) ang ‘Cavite-Metro Manila Ferry Boat Service’­ sa Cavite City hall gamit ang hashtag na “#OkayKaFerryKo.”

Nabatid sa DOTr-Marina, inaasahan nilang makatutulong ang pagbubukas ng naturang ferry boat service sa pagpapaluwag ng daloy ng trapiko sa Metro Manila dahil magkakaroon na ang publiko ng opsyon para sa water transportation.

Ruta umano ng patatakbuhin na Cavite-Metro Manila Ferry Boat Service ang Cavite City Port Terminal-Cavite City Hall hanggang CCP Port, at Cavite City Port Terminal-Cavite City Hall hanggang Lawton, Liwasang Bonifacio.

Ang Cavite-Metro Manila Ferry Boat Service ay io-operate ng Shogun Ships Co., Incorpo­rated at Seaborne Shipping Lines Incorporated.

Nanatid sa DOTr at Marina, ang pamasahe mula CCP hanggang Cavite at pabalik ay nasa P200 pero kung estudyante ay may discount ito at magiging P160 na lamang, P143 naman kapag senior citizen at P125 kapag bata na nasa edad apat hanggang 11-taong gulang.

Samantala, ang ruta naman na Cavite to Lawton at pabalik ay P160 ang pamasahe, P128 kapag estudyante, P114 kapag senior citizen at P80 kapag bata na edad 4 hanggang 11. “With the theme “Mabilis, Maginhawa,­ at Panatag na Biyahe,” the primary aim of this project is to give the Filipino commuters an alternative way of getting to their destination through water transportation,” anang DOTr-Marina.

Ipapakilala na rin umano ng Marina sa nasabing okasyon ang registration ng recreational boats kung saan isasagawa ang ceremonial inspection at registration.

“Finally, the MARINA will also have a ceremonial unveiling­ of its Central Office Processing Center (COPC) marker, which will be located in Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and will focus on serving­ the Filipino seafarers and shipping companies,” ayon sa Marina.
