MAAGANG nawala sa laro si Aaron Black, nag-take charge si Anjo Caram para manehuhin ang Meralco Bolts sa 95-83 panalo kontra Terrafirma Dyip sa krusyal na yugto ng eliminasyon ng 2021 PBA Philippine Cup sa Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Gym sa Bacolor, Pampanga.

Nagtala si Caram ng 13 puntos kasama ang 1 rebound, limang assists at tatlong steals para ibigay sa Meralco ang 6-2 panalo-talong kartada para sa ikalawang puwesto sa team standings at halos nakakasiguro na sa ikalawang silya para sa twice-to-beat incentive papasok ng quarterfinals.

“It was a tough game for us tonight, but good thing is that everybody contributed. We are extremely happy for Anjo for stepping over to the game and that gave him being the Best Player of the Game. I am not surprised to have the next man to fill up the position and played well,” sabi ni Meralco coach Norman Black, matapos na ma-injured ang anak na si Aaron sa unang dalawang minuto ng laro.

“I was informed that he hurt his hand but it was not broken it. He was still in the hospital I hope no broken bones and hope there will be no operation,” sabi pa ni Black.
