This is an invitation to participate in the celebration of the birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, national hero of the Philippines, his life, works and culmina­ting on his martyrdom on December 30, 2017. And we restart with a special highlight a “Contest: Coconut Carving-Sculpture of Dr. Jose P. Rizal”. (Paligsahan ng Pag-ukit & Paglilok ng Imahe ni Dr. Jose P. Rizal sa Niyog) 

1. Open to : Elementary, High School, College-University Students & Teachers and Carvers / Sculptors

2. The medium / material to be used will be matured whole coconut with husk (bunot).

3. Carving tools: chisel, knife, blade, cutter, scissors, mallet, hammer, saw, brush, varnish, paint.

4. Submission and Judging of Entries will be on December 1-7, 2017 .

5. December 30, 2017 : Awarding of Winners: “Contest: Coconut Carving-Sculpture of Dr. Jose P. Rizal” @ Rizal Park, Manila.

6. Prizes: First: P10,000.,  2nd: P7,000., 3rd: P5,000., 4th P3,000., 5th P1,000.
