“So, I don’t speak Tagalog and I maybe a little lighter skin toned. But I know everything I need to know to be a Filipino American and I am proud to be a first Filipino American commander,” pahayag ni Graham sa ulat ng Weekend Balita – Los Angeles.

Lumipat sila sa San Fernando Valley sa tinawag niyang ‘most cosmopolitan city in America’ noong 1984.

“Filipinos work hard. And I know Filipinos fight — a single mom raising three kids by herself. I know that we fight. And most importantly, that we live with our hearts; and not just for our family but for everybody around us, for our community and doesn’t mind the racial divide,” saad nito.
