“Every end is a new beginning. Thank you, volleyball. Thank you to the community. You will always be in my heart. Cheers to life!” sabi ng 28-anyos na si Villanueva.

“It was love at first dig. Fresh from grade school, a bit confused of what I want do with my life, until I met my high school coach, Coach Sheila Lauchengco.”

“She became a mentor and guided me ever since. I learned the value of hard work and sacrifice. Volleyball became my ticket to endless possibilities. I’ve spent nearly half of my life growing in this sport. From a young kid to being a teenager, to entering awkward years, pro level, and to who I’ve become now,” dagdag pa nito.

(Lito Oredo)
