Inilatag ng Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee nina Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano, Philippine Sports Commission Chairman William Ramirez at ng Phil. Olympic Committee ang masterplan para sa pagganap ng bansa bilang punong-abala ng 30th SEA Games 2019.
Iniulat ni Cayetano, chairman ng SEAG National Organizing Committee, ang masterplan matapos makipagpulong noong Enero 3 kina Bases Conversion and Development Authority assistant vice president Arrey Perez, Masterplan facilitator Ramon Suzara, PSC executive director Atty. Sannah Frivaldo, Pastor Boy Saycon, Co, Ramirez at Presidential Adviser on Sports Dennis Uy at dating PSC chairman Ricardo Garcia.
“We have discussed Phase 1 of the Masterplan in cooperation with the PSC and POC officials and their respective staff. Phase 2, which is in partnership with the BCDA and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority has started,” bigkas kahapon ni Cayetano.
“Congress has allotted funds in the General Appropriations Act for both the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games and we are also into the process of looking for an office for the 2019 SEAG NOC,” aniya pa.
Hiniling ni Cayetano ang suporta ng bawat national sports associations (NSA) para maagang maipatupad ang paghanap ng pondo na gagamitin ng pamahalaan para sa bagong pasilidad na gagamitin ng atleta bago pa mag-2019 SEAG at 32nd Summer Olympic Games 2020 sa Tokyo, Japan.
