“We have always been clear that this league is not your regular
league, where everything starts and ends with a victory and a loss,”
ani Nokia NBTC director at Nokia RP Under 16 coach Eric Altamirano.
nina Manny V. Pangilinan at executive director Noli Eala.
“All the teams are trained in practice under the same module
to make sure that there is unified approach in developing their
skills,” dagdag ni Altamirano. “Aside from the players,
there is also transfer of coaching technology for the coaches for
the benefit of their other teams in the provinces.”
Luzon), Pampanga Delta (Northern Luzon), Santos Petroleum (Western
Visayas), Daisy Condensada-SHSJ (Cebu) at Misamis Oriental Meteors
(Cagayan de Oro/Iligan).
“The league teaches the players to be well-rounded,”
“My son is requested to play center for Ateneo
in the school league, but at the Nokia NBTC, he can use his other
skills. He takes three-point shots and he’s doing well at
it.”
