NANINIWALA si Atty. June Ambrosio na mapapatunayan sa korte ng kanyang kliyente ang pagiging inosente nito sa reklamo na pambabastos ng isang kinse-anyos na babae.

Si Atty. Ambrosio ang legal counsel ni Aljur Abrenica at sa kanyang statement na ipinadala sa Abante, may mga itinuwid siya na maling akala tungkol sa reklamo laban sa batang aktor.

“The NBI was just following standard ope­rational legal procedure when it forwarded the case of Aljur Abreni­ca to the DOJ.

NBI receives the complaint, investigates and forwards it to the DOJ or to the concerned prosecutor’s office, which is the proper office to determine ‘probable cause.’

“It is therefore erroneous to report that the NBI has found probable cause in the case and to insinuate that there is a strong case against Aljur.

“The DOJ, after preliminary hearing, will determine if there is enough basis to charge the respondent or dismiss the case altogether.

“In the wake of this development, let it be put on record that Aljur is ready to face his accuser and answer the charges against him in the DOJ as soon as we receive a copy of the subpoena, along with the affidavits of the complainant and her witnesses.

“I am confident that my client will be able to clear his name on this matter.”

Tearjerker ang pilot telecast ng Survivor Philippines Palau dahil ipinakita ang pagpapaalam ng labing-anim na castaways sa kanilang mga mahal sa buhay.

Alam ng mga castaways na nakapasa sila sa audition pero hindi nila napaghandaan ang pagsunod sa kanila ng staff ng Survivor Philippines Palau.

Nang dumating sa taha­nan ng mga castaways ang mga representative ng reality show ng GMA 7, ‘yon din ang araw na kailangan na mag-empake sila ng kanilang mga gamit at iwanan ang mga pamilya nila.

Nabasa ng luha ang mga mata ng entertainment press na dumalo sa grand press launch ng Survivor Philippines Palau nang ipapanood sa kanila ang mga eksena ng pagpapaalam sa pamilya ng mga castaways.

Dalawa sa 16 castaways ang malaki ang potensyal na maging artista, ang Swiss-Filipino teenager na si Marvin Kiefer at ang 18-year old model na si Jef Gaitan.

Si Paolo Bediones pa rin ang host ng Survivor Philippines Palau. Ipinagmalaki niya na mas magugustuhan ng televiewers ang second season ng kanyang programa dahil napaghandaan ito nang husto, sa kabila ng mga problema na naranasan nila nang pumunta sila sa Palau.
Tiniyak din ni Paolo na hindi na mauulit ang nangyari noong Season 1 na hinulaan kaagad ang mananalo kahit hindi pa ipinalalabas ang Survivor Philippines Thailand.
